Good or bad idea.

OK, so this summer I'm going backpacking with friends in some part of the country that has bears and mountain lions all over, so I'm bringing a Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser with me, just in case some bear tries to fucking eat us.

I was asking my friends what kind of rounds I should load the shotgun with, and they told me blanks and slugs.

But, I thought it would be cooler to put the Taser rounds in and keep the bears and mountain lions away like that. Jamie and Camaron, however, disagreed. They told that would just piss the fucking thing off even more, and that when it ate them while I was running away like a little bitch, they'd come back and haunt my ass forever (which is how long I'm going to live, by the way).

Then I thought about the Dragon's Breath rounds, but they shot that one down by saying I'd start a damn forest fire and that Smokey would come and kick my ass.

I'm out of ideas, and I'd like an opinion or two from the online populace.
